Houthi leader Abdulmalik Al-Houthi accused the United States of preventing an agreement between his group and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the war in Yemen.

In a speech broadcast by Al-Masirah TV on Thursday, Al-Houthi said: "America is constantly pressuring politically to halt our military operations which support Gaza."

"The American and British enemy carried out 844 raids and naval bombardments to no avail and without any impact on our position and stances. Their warplanes did not achieve anything," he added.

Al-Houthi added that his group will continue its naval and air operations against Israel, stressing that "the ban on navigation in Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea will continue."

He claimed that his militia struck "Israeli targets in Ashkelon, the Negev and Eilat this week."

Regarding developments in Lebanon, Al-Houthi said that the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah "is not the end of the war, but the end of a round of it."

He called for "building on what the Lebanese front has achieved, and moving towards further escalation, especially from the Iraqi and Yemeni fronts."

He also pointed to the growing capabilities of his group from launching larger attacks on Israel.

He said: "At this time, there is no longer any movement of Israeli navigation, and during these past days there has been no movement by ships that belong to other countries but carry goods for the Israeli enemy."
