Yesterday, the Southern forces announced that 3 soldiers were killed and 3 others were wounded in an attack by the Houthi militia on the Yafa front in Lahj governorate (north of Aden).
The official "Dera Alganoob" website said that the Houthi members attempted to infiltrate across the border from Al-Bayda governorate late on Saturday evening.
"Our forces were able to confront the infiltrating Houthi members, causing casualties among them and forcing them to withdraw to their areas in Al-Bayda governorate," he added.
The attack comes only two days after the arrest of a cell of 7 ISIS members that tried to cross from Al-Bayda governorate, which is controlled by the Houthis, to Yafaa.

The Southern forces accuses the Iran-backed Houthis of coordinating with AQAP and ISIS to target the Southern governorates.
No statement has been issued by the Houthis so far regarding these clashes. The Houthis also accuses their opponents of coordinating with AQAP and ISIS on the battle fronts.
The Houthis had taken complete control of Al-Bayda governorate in late 2021, as part of a wide military campaign in Al-Bayda and Marib.
