Al-Zubaidi added that the coming phase will witness the opening of recruitment for the people of Hadramout to join the Southern Armed Forces, in a step aimed at enhancing the security partnership and enabling the people of the governorate to take responsibility for protecting their areas.
In a speech before the crowds, Al-Zubaidi said that "the popular rallying witnessed by Hadramout today is a message that does not accept misinterpretation."
He warned that "if confrontation is imposed, general mobilization will be the proposed option, and everyone, men and women, will join the ranks of the Southern Forces."
During the event, the crowds chanted slogans supporting STC President Aidrous Al-Zubaidi, including: "Oh Aidrous, declare it a state”. They also chanted the South National Anthem and raised slogans rejecting the removal of the Southern Forces from Hadramout.
For his part, a member of the STC's Presidium, Fadi Baoum, said that people of South "have reached this stage after long years of sacrifices," emphasizing that attempts to break the popular will are "doomed to failure."
The event's presenter sent a message to neighboring countries, saying: "Just as you love your homelands and sanctify their sovereignty, the people of the South also cling to their right to their homeland and do not accept the denial of this right."

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the STC, Ali Al- Kathiri, said that "the people of Hadramout today declare their full rallying around the Southern Armed Forces."
Addressing the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia, Al-Kathiri said: "These are the true people of Hadramout, and not those who claim guardianship over it from abroad or through media platforms."
Al- Kathiri also called on international organizations to visit the city of Seiyun and see the situation on the ground, warning against relying on fake humanitarian reports claiming violations, which he said were issued by entities affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood group and do not reflect the reality on the ground.
The final statement of the event confirmed the rallying of the people of Hadramout around the Southern Armed Forces and their categorical rejection of any attempts aimed at removing these forces from the governorate.
The statement renewed the commitment of the people of Hadramout to the right of the people of the South to self-determination and the restoration of their independent state, emphasizing that Hadramout, with its geography and social and political components, represents an integral part of the South Arabia State.
At the same time, the statement emphasized the keenness to enhance brotherly and strategic relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
