Zaher Zein

Zaher Zain is a Non-Resident Senior Researcher in Climate and Environmental Issues at South24 Center for News and Studies. His research interests focus on climate change, adaptation and resilience, climate migration and mobility, and transformations affecting coastal cities, as well as marine and oil pollution and climate justice.


He previously founded and directed the Yemeni Platform for Climate Change and Environment and has participated in local and regional initiatives and programs related to climate action and youth engagement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Media from the University of Aden.
